I have never been a big fan of talking about my problems, which is probably why things got so bad after my husband died a few years ago. I couldn't talk about it with anyone, and before I knew it, I was struggling to do basic things like make it to work. I was really frustrated with how my life was turning out, and I didn't know what to do about it. Fortunately, I decided that it might be a good idea to meet with a counselor, and they helped me to overcome my grief with a variety of self-help strategies. This blog is all about choosing to work through grief in a positive way.
